Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Network Services, the Computer Support Specialist will support all broadband connectivity, VPN, WiFi, VOIP, and other remote network related hardware or configuration issues. Description: U-Haul's Emergency Road Service department is looking for telecommuting agents. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic team members with a positive attitude. As a tele-commuting Hotline Agent, you will answer incoming calls in your own home from Customers in need of emergency road service. After gathering detailed information, you will dispatch calls to the appropriate shop or service providers who will assist the Customer. The successful candidate will assist the U-Haul Energy Management Committee and Corporate Sustainability to coordinate company-wide efforts to implement U-Haul energy strategy and improve the overall energy performance. Typical responsibilities include: managing the evaluation, development, and implementation of projects that have significant financial and operational impact; participating in program/project planning and proposal development; conducting energy consumption analysis and research on energy efficiency technologies appropriate for different U-Haul facilities; providing budget recommendations, monitoring performance for all energy efficiency projects; coordinate cross-functional efforts to build and maintain U-Haul energy profile and inventory; addressing issues related to sustainability; communicating energy efficiency issues to all team members; and performing other duties as required.
Description: The U-Haul Web Team has an immediate opening for two .NET and SQL programming interns in the Phoenix area. The intern will be responsible for working with the rest of the Web Team to create/modify existing internal and external websites and various other applications as needed. Qualified candidates will have experience with Microsoft Technologies, including hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, ADO and SQL Server. Additional experience with AJAX, JQuery, Silverlight, .NET 4.0, SQL 2008, Entity Framework, and Team Foundation Server are considered pluses.
