Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Network Services, the Computer Support Specialist will support all broadband connectivity, VPN, WiFi, VOIP, and other remote network related hardware or configuration issues. Additional responsibilities include: *Over the phone support to remote staff on a variety of network, phone, or PC related issues, broadband equipments, routers, switches and operating procedures *Provide efficient and courteous service to all users *Provide all levels of support to users with problems regarding their internet connectivity and network connections. This may involve PCs, Peripherals, mobile devices, and IP phones. *Proactively monitor mission critical servers and network devices, reporting all activity to system and network administrator *Document and log problems and troubleshooting procedures *Communicate with network administrators and the broadband coordinator to analyze, collaborate and contribute to solving problems *Manage enterprise wide equipment and configuration deployments *Perform system upgrades; evaluate hardware and software as needed 90% of the job will be on the phone. Description: Under the direction of the Director of eMove (a wholly owned subsidiary of U-Haul), the intern will provide sales and marketing support in all facets of day-to-day operations, including inbound sales support calls, existing affiliate support, and electronic communication with prospective and existing storage affiliates. Administrative support will include collections of fees and management of the WebSelfStorage software system. Maintain working sales lead documents. Description: U-Haul Corporate Sustainability is currently seeking a Sustainability Intern at our corporate headquarters. The successful candidate will assist the U-Haul Energy Management Committee and Corporate Sustainability to coordinate company-wide efforts to implement U-Haul energy strategy and improve the overall energy performance. Typical responsibilities include: managing the evaluation, development, and implementation of projects that have significant financial and operational impact; participating in program/project planning and proposal development; conducting energy consumption analysis and research on energy efficiency technologies appropriate for different U-Haul facilities; providing budget recommendations, monitoring performance for all energy efficiency projects; coordinate cross-functional efforts to build and maintain U-Haul energy profile and inventory; addressing issues related to sustainability; communicating energy efficiency issues to all team members; and performing other duties as required.
Description: The U-Haul Web Team has an immediate opening for two .NET and SQL programming interns in the Phoenix area. The intern will be responsible for working with the rest of the Web Team to create/modify existing internal and external websites and various other applications as needed. Qualified candidates will have experience with Microsoft Technologies, including hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, ADO and SQL Server. Additional experience with AJAX, JQuery, Silverlight, .NET 4.0, SQL 2008, Entity Framework, and Team Foundation Server are considered pluses.
